.
En blygsam liten viol.

Rosa på bal?
Tulipandans?
Competition and cooperation (Part 5)
Time for competition!
Start in that direction!
A GPS and a batch of tasks...
Searching?
Searching here...
searching there...
searching everywhere...
Checking the vegetation
Which way?
The painter and the sea...
... and a group trying to solve a problem.
Solving a Quiz?
Lost in vegetation?
A water tower, interesting!
What are they doing...?
Must be documented
To short measuring tape!
Need some help...
A word? Of Theese?
Searching everywhere?
The winners?
Sitting at the Conference...
(part 4, mostly pictures)
Where we were...
...and there we produced a lot of sitting...
... so I have just choosed some randomly generated wievs ...
... in colour or black-and-white depending of the content ...
... with people looking in different directions...
... and sometimes with a view of the outer reallity ...
... as the lunch ...
... hidden behind the glasses ...
mirando desde detrás de las luces
confering with the computer...
... and so on ...
END
but to be continued...
Search for simplicity,
the old and the sea
or just a failure (Part 3)
A new day, a new search for pictures out there, in an empty timeslot...
As a photographer I prefer to pick the right moment depending on light and not on time, but when there is a schedule I will have to do it the other way around, try to find the light when there is time. Apparently the light don't know that! Bad cooperation?
So I will have to choose my picture subjects depending on the lightrestrictions . Do I rememember that? Not always, my eyes fooles me (or, to be more precise: my brain). That is: I optimistically take bad pictures when I don't remember what I actually know.
Green, green grass (as above) will often work in the conditions I had this morning. . But actually the lighthouse is the subject. Without it, the picture will be dead.
The lighthouse is the point of interest in the picture, but not only because it is an object in the picture. It also tells us a story from the old days, when it stood here as an sole guardian against the darkness, alone with the sea.
Approaching the building, I come to think of Hemingways novel from 1952, and I felt the lighthouse was as alone as the old man in his boat.
The old and the Sea.
I made the association in Swedish (of course?), and it is an difference between the English and the Swedish titles. No man is mentioned in the Swedish title: "Den gamle och havet" ( The Old and the Sea), but in the original: "The Old Man and the Sea".
So old can be a lighthouse as well as a man... Q.E.D. ?
Simplicity
Being alone with the sea, made me think of simplicity, just water and horizon, so I started to consider simplification...
Less is more...
...and no colours.
Just shapes
.
... then the timeslot was used ... and its reality, much better than my pictures ...
maybee just a failure
but not
because I remember the reality
Meeting again...
.
Something is going to happen..
(Part 2)
Someone is going somewhere...
Clicking on the pictures makes them bigger (and better?)
Someone else is holding the umbrella...
Struggling in the rain...
...walking into the unkown?
Still struggling...
...upward
To enhance the perspective and make the struggling persons really small and really struggling, I have played with my wideangle zoom. It is boring to be normal...
.
Struggling on the stones...
All together?
"The more we are together... "
Here I am Albrecht von Mecklenburg, King of Sweden from 1364 to 1389, looking down on Queen Blanca and her husbond Magnus Eriksson, King of Sweden and Norway, and a lot of other celebrities from medieval Swedish history.
The girl to the right is our contemporary guide, and we are at "Varbergs fästning".
Struggling in the darkness...?
We stayed at the Fortress for dinner and the sun set...
At the end of the day...
No more struggling!
