The Migrant Mother

The photo of Evita and Everts that I took during the great depression in Latvia in 2008 was compared with Dorothea Langes famous photo of The Migrant Mother by a fellow photographer. Although I feel honored and are flattered by the comparison. I don´t believe that I will ever be able to take a photo with the same importance as The Migrant Mother, that photo is out of both my league and reach.

The photo of The Migrant Mother is actually one of my personal favorites and Dorothea Langes photographic language has been very influential to my own work as you can see in the picture above.
