Synpunkter?
with an IS lens I wouldn't go below 1/focal
without IS I'll probably hit around 1/(3xfocal).
right now with the 5D I'm around 1/(2xfocal).
and that's simply for my print requirements .. not even considering per pixel quality!
same thing as motion blurr - where 1/200th was fine for the 5D, on my 40D I found that 1/400th seemed better .. I imagine that the 5D2 will be around 1/300th or so. (which means I never really need IS for any lens that I use under 100mm btw..)
but really - shoot as fast as you can as far as shutter speed is what I do .. which is why I'll like the fact that I can go up to around 1600 nicely on the 5D2, perhaps 3200 .. but I'll have to real world test that .. on the 5D my upper limit was around 800. I know for how I shoot - the 5D2 will immediately grant me one or more stop of lattitude adjustment - which is always, always welcome
I've noticed for instance alot more "green" smearing happening as the shutter speeds get lower and lower - part of the reason I figured was the fact that micro contrast wasn't there and that leaves / grass, et all are hardly ever completely still - and there's simply not alot of green pixels on a bayer sensor - any motion at all that is captured will get intrepreted oddly and smeared. a faster shutter speed always seems to completely remove that from happening.
