Sharpness
========
Alla verkar vara överens:
"The Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM delivers truly excellent results on full frame cameras" dpreview.com
"My goodness is this lens ridiculously sharp.", "It’s uncannily sharp" fstoppers.com
"It’s sharp. Wicked sharp. Sharper than Nikon in my opinion." samhurdphotography.com
"I haven’t seen such an impressive resolution graph like that of the Sigma 1.4/35 in the frame centre for a very long time. " lenstip.com

Först de positiva:
"Lateral chromatic aberration is exceptionally low."
"The first shows negligible fringing along high-contrast edges in the corner of the image on full frame, which is a pretty impressive result. The second shows some colour fringing around high contrast out-of-focus elements when the lens is shot wide open - magenta in front of the plane of focus, cyan behind - but for such a fast lens it's really very low. " dpreview.com
"One glance at the crops below and you see clearly that a big number of low dispersion elements manage to dampen the longitudinal chromatic aberration very well."
"Similarly we can describe the correction of lateral chromatic aberration which never reaches even medium levels. Both on the edge of the APS-C/DX sensor and on the edge of full frame it remains negligible or low, no matter what aperture you use. " lenstip.com
Men fstoppers håller inte med, men de testade av nån anledning på en spegellös Canonkamera:
"In certain situations, I did notice some flaring and chromatic aberration issues. "

Ser klart sämre ut än lenstips

Sam Hurd visar också en bild som ser lite tråkig ut:
"You’ll see in the second example image above there’s a fair amount of fringing" samhurdphotography.com

Flare
====
Positiva:
"The Sigma 35mm F1.4 however seems remarkably resistant - pointing the lens directly into the low winter sun scarcely fazes it at all." dpreview.com
"Surprisingly, I didn’t have any issues fighting flare even without the lens hood (I despise lens hoods and never use them) and the contrast was still great shooting against the sun." samhurdphotography.com
Lite mer reserverade:
"After a significant stopping down, though, the problems start to appear. They are not especially pronounced for the smaller sensor of the Canon 50D but on full frame you can observe more distinct artifacts"
"In this category the Sigma doesn’t compare as favourably with its competitors as in the other categories" lenstip.com
Bokeh
=====
"The bokeh rendering is perfectly fine and not distracting to me." samhurdphotography.com
"The distant background in the first example doesn't look very pretty when viewed close-up, with point highlights on the fountain showing up as bright rings, and the tree branches a jumble of green and magenta" dpreview.com
"The weakness of the lens (every lens has some) does begin to show up in some of these photos: the backround bokeh is not nearly as smooth and buttery as the Nikon or Canon 35 lenses." lensrentals.com
Conclusions
=========
"This is the lens you want. Unload your Nikon 35mm while you still can." samhurdphotography.com
"If you are considering the 35mm lens, I can’t recommend Sigma’s enough." fstoppers.com
"The Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM is a truly excellent lens, that performs as well in the field as its superb lab test results suggest. " dpreview.com
"The Sigma has the best results of all 1.4/35 lenses, tested by us so far in the categories of resolution, distortion, chromatic aberration and coma correction. It also fares very well in the case of astigmatism correction and the autofocus accuracy, being one of the cheapest lenses in this class of equipment. I think I don’t have to add anything more… " lenstip.com
