Om ni inte redan sålt er D2X har Thom Hogan några tips vad ni skall ta er till när ni får er D3:
Thom's Top Ten Things...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...to do with your D2x when the D3 comes out
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#10: Give it to a Canon user so that they can show their friends just how bad old Nikon bodies are at high ISO values compared to new Canon ones.
#9: Send it in to Nikon Japan for repair. You should have it back in time for it to have become an antique, thus increasing its value.
#8: Mount it on the hood of your car as an ornament (be sure to install a remote release so you can startle pedestrians with the shutter sound as they walk by).
#7: Give it to your spouse to use as a personal defense device while traveling thru tough neighborhoods. (Tip: install a hand grip for convenience in carrying and reliability in keeping the hand in place during the "swing".)
#6: Set it permanently to High Speed Crop and give it someone saying that's it an out-of-date 6mp DSLR. Bonus points for permanently setting High Speed Continuous, as well ("bet you can't take just one...").
#5: Use a magic marker to add an "s" to the nameplate, thus giving you a slightly newer model to use as your D3 backup.
#4: Sell it to NASA as a backup body.
#3: Keep in storage for parts because you'll eventually lose the D3 screw-in eyepiece, body cap, and you'll need replacement rubber grips when they fall off at exactly the wrong time and place.
#2: Place it in the glass case in your hallway, right next to the D1, D1h, D1x, D100, D2h, and all the film Nikons you've collected. Unfortunately, you can't charge admission to this museum, because all your neighbors who also shoot Nikon have a similar case.
#1: Bundle it up with all your low-cost DX lenses and sell it on eBay for more than you paid for them.
Seriously: it still takes just as fine a picture as it used to, so most people will just keep using it to take pictures.
