Pavel,
Never - ever - give away originals or raw, with this I mean - unfinished images - either on a cd or as negs.
And in this case - she comes to YOU - asking you to shoot her - but she demands you give her this and give her that - isn't that a little ass backwards?
You are the photographer - the artist - YOU decide which images to do - and which ones not to show - they are YOURS - and yours alone - unless she pays you enough for you to give her the whole take - or part of it.
I sometimes - and I mean sometimes - let a client have a cd with LOW res PROOFS on it - with that I mean I give them a CD with all the FINISHED images in 72 DPI with PROOF and all my copyrigtht and website info printed across the image - it also has the copyright and file info as well as my Digimarc info burned into each and every file and the copyright is also registrated with the US Copyright office - before I send out a CD. The images are small enough that they work on a computer but not large enough to give a good hard copy - and if they do print a hard copy - well - then every image will have the PROOF and copyright all over it.
AND - remember - your images are part of your retirement - if you're good enough they will be worth more and more as time goes on.
Tell her you'll be happy to do what she asks you for as long as she pays you for the shoot and your time - AND compensates you for the loss of eventual future income from those images.
This - the demand to get a CD of the whole take - is a new development here in the States after digital cameras became somewhat affordable - now every John or Mike can call hisself a Photographer or Artist and offer to photograph girls nekkid - and as compensation these guys always offer a CD of the whole take instead of prints - 'cause they never DO anything with the pics except jerk off looking at them on a monitor.
I read Christel's post - right on...=*^)
