Rules:
You MUST be the copyrightholder of the picture
or have full permission from the copyrightholder of it.
Your picture must be max. 400 KB and
max. lenght on the longest side 600 pixels.
Every user are allowed to enter up to 3 pictures.

What can I win?
The 3 best photographers will be rewarded
with a subscribtion on the best Danish Photomagazine there is:
Alt om Foto & Video
for the rest of the year 2002.

When is the winner found & how?
The winner will be notified and published
on this page the 14th of June.
The winner will be chosen among all the submissions
sent in before June 10th by both international
and national judges.
The judgepanel will be posted on this page in the upcomming days!

and the titel of your picture.

It's kind of unclear what happens with the submissions. Do they get published anywhere? What about non-winning images?

They all are published on the website. If you take a look at the website, theres a gallery for all contestants.

I think what Jim means is if the pics are going to be used later on for other purposes. On other sites or whatever. Rather common and most photographers don't want that. Something written about this in the Contest info would be a good thing.

Ok Hans, I see your point. I didnt think about writing that, but not other sides, just maybe mine (www.12day.dk) if I have to show gallerys for the previous contests

So if I add something like:
By entering you also agree that your pictures might later on be used by 12Day.

it should be fine right?

I'm sorry that we are so suspicious, but here in Sweden we are brought up by Socialdemokraterna as leading politicians and one just get scares from that Personally I think the prize is reasonable for a web-contest but not if you get the right to do whatever you please with the pics.

Its not like Im some big organization *LOL*
Im ONE person, and its most likely I take my OWN pictures if I have to use it for something

I have NO problems picturing what I might need myself

And Jesper, nobody is forsing you to enter.
Originally this contest was just for the honor of it, and everybody I have talked to was fine and PLEASED with that.

So if you dont feel like it...just dont

But why dont you just sponsor something then Jesper!!!

As I told all the americans, there wasnt gonna be any winnings on this contest...you have to show sponsors some huge numbers to get that normally!

This is the first time my page has a competition and my page has only been up since this sunday, so I havent asked any sponsors....the owner of the magazine was kind enough to offer it himself!

Efter en EOS 5 med 28-105, en Minolta Dual scan II och ett Sigma EX 70-200/2.8 HSM så har jag ett stooort sort hål i pengabörsen.

Ikke min mening att låta så barsk Simonia.
