Jag tänker inte påstå att jag kan mycket om kamerateknik och sånt, men för min del så kan jag bara säga att jag har fått ett fåtal bilder som jag inte har varit nöjd med och då har det snarare varit mina tillkortakommanden som fotograf än att det är kameran som inte har levererat. Jag gillar känslan i kameran och finesserna jag använder, BULB och M i 99% av fallen. Vädertätningen är ju ett stort plus. Dock har jag inte många WR-objektiv. Men det ska det ändras på inom ett halvår. Jag hade en K-5 tidigare så jag var inte ovan vid Pentax när jag köpte denna bör tilläggas. Därför klickade jag i Lätt på Att använda. Bör tilläggas att min inte ens hade upplevt 700 exponeringar när jag köpte den. Den ska klara enligt Rikoh/Pentax 100 000 exponeringar.
Liknande produkter: Pentax K-1. Priset avgjorde till K-3:ans fördel.

MINUS: Pentax ligger överlag efter när det gäller autofokusen. Denna är Pentax bästa men ligger fortfarande efter CaNikon. Men det drabbar främst sportfoto- och fågelfotoentusiaster.
Jag har haft kameran i över ett år nu och är mycket nöjd med det mesta. Skärpan och upplösningen i bilderna är enastående. Mycket trevlig sökare. Kameran har dessutom mycket bra dynamiskt omfång. Klara autofokus i mycket svagt ljus (-3 EV). Fantastisk att använda i Live View-läge. Ergonomin är fantastisk och Pentax är kända för små och kompakta objektiv vilket gör att utrustningen hålls lätt även med flera objektiv i väskan. Det finns många inbyggda kreativa möjligheter som multiexponering med 100-tals bilder, inbyggd HDR som sparar i RAW, timelapse, GPS med följande astrofoto som extratillbehör mm mm. K-3 har hyfsat bra bruskontroll, även om det börjar märkas lite svagt när man pixelpeepar redan vid ISO 400 så är det hanterbart upp till ISO 3200.

MINUS: Batterigreppet från K-5 passar inte.
En fantastisk uppgradering från K-5, som redan den var en underbar kamera.
Mycket snabbare autofokus, mera fina detaljer i bilderna och i princip samma väderskyddade hus. Att sökaren blivit lite större gör ju inget heller. Ett rent fynd nu när priset gått ner.
Hållbarhetsbetyget baserat på min K-7:a och K-5:a som båda verkar outslitliga.
