Persongalleriet #732: Prague, Monday
April 17th, 2017.
I had lost two days to fever. Saturday, I think the fever was pretty high, since I slept away the whole day. Sunday I could do stuff at the computer for shorter periods of time before taking it easy again. By evening I started to feel OK.
It was Easter Monday and raining. So the streets were quite empty, with groups of confused tourists huddling under umbrellas, while walking between one closed tourist site and another.
I chose to go back to the main train station again. It turned out to be a good choice. It was filled with people, who had probably visited friends or family in Prague during Easter and were now on their way back home again to start work the next day. On my visit three days earlier, I had noticed the red ceiling design with circular lamps fitted with flurescent lights shaped a bit like hands. I found the patterns they made quite striking. Here's one photo from the Friday, the rest are from Monday:
Rat in a Cage.
While checking this photo on the camera screen, I realized there were raindrops on the lens and I wiped it.
Snack Time.
Hands.
Take care, everybody!

Persongalleriet #731: Prague, Friday
April 14th, 2017.
Spent the morning in a gym I found close to the hotel. Got out on the streets after lunch and started by going away from the city center, east. I wanted to see something else than the fairy tale city.
At the long distance bus station in Florenc.
I turned around and went back toward the city center, since I wanted to take a closer look at the smaller railway station, Masarykovo. We had passed outside it several times and it looked beautiful.
The day continued and I walked a long loop, which also included the main railway station. But those photos will have to wait.
Be well, everybody!

Persongalleriet #730: Prague, Thursday
March 13th, 2017.
The first half of the day was spent accompanying Anna-Lena to the airport as she was going home to take care of her horse. And also to pay back her friends, who had been helping her while away.
After changing to a cheaper hotel I had lunch at the glorious Café Imperial, just a couple of blocks from the new place. Duck risotto and a large beer in that setting and it still cost less than a normal workday lunch back home.
Strengthened, I took on the task of streeting, walking randomly. I'll just show one photo today. Time for processing just hasn't been available.
Happy Easter, everybody! Or just a nice weekend for those of you who don't celebrate it.

Persongalleriet #729: Prague, Wednesday
March 12th, 2017.
A day filled with tourist activity number 1: SHOPPING! (sorry sight-seeing!)
In and out of stores, but we also got to see a lot of the city while walking from one shopping hotspot to another. And the subway gave me some more opportunities for streeting:
Prague is a very beautiful city and one example of that is its amazing cafés and restaurants. On this day, we had som tea/coffee and cake at Café Savoy on the "other" side of the river. What a beautiful place! The tea was immaculate and the Savoy cake was probably the best cake I've ever had!
Be well, everybody!

April 11th, 2017.
We took an early morning walk down to the river and Charles Bridge. Early morning means not too many tourists and it turned out this fact was not only used by us, but also the wedding photographers.
Glutton.
We returned to our hotel to enjoy the great breakfast and a shower before heading out to the modern art museum, Veletržní palác - Národní galerie v Praze.
Anna-Lena at the modern art museum.
This is me being inspired to try and create some art when at the museum. :-)
After the museum we did the shopping thing for a while.
Tourist shot.
In the evening we went to a jazz club for some live music.
Be well, everybody!
