I have only A-skatt, I am employed in institutet. I do photography for fun but got a chance to sell photos to church and they paid me some amount of money. I wonder if I need to declare this extra income for tax, and how to do that. As a foreigner, I am not very familiar with the system here. Any idea? Thanks!

Well, yes, by law you need to declare the income. (you do that on your annual tax form)

Otherwise these guyes are doing this for you, however I guess it cost a lot of money?
(I have no own experience of them)

It is not difficult to set up your own company (enskilt bolag) as it is the same as your person.

The best of luck!

The amount is not big, 8000SEK, I read the google translated of this pdf, if I understood right, I don't have to declare if the amount is less than 50000SEK/year, right?
I email to tax office but no reply after many days.
Thanks for responses!

I think the free amount for 50.000 is not applicable in your case. I think that is when you have an item that you bought for personal use and later sell it. Like if you buy a boat that you use, or a painting that you put on your wall. If you sell that and the profit is less than 50000 you don't need to pay tax.

I think that is the section "Tjänst (Hobby)" that describes your situation best and there it seems to be no limit. :( Unless your hobby is to pick berries an mushrooms in the forest - then you have a free amout.

You can go out in someone elses forest, pick the berries and mushrooms that is there and sell. You don't have to pay the land owner, nor any tax!

But if you go out in the same forest and take a picture of the berries with your own camera and sell the picture - then you must pay tax!

Isn't Sweden a fantastic country? :)
