"Ive got a 7D and last night a was recording a live concert and today when i was about go through the material i was sad to see that one of the files, perhaps the most important was corrupt. The one file where the singer got on stage and the crowed greeted him. Now om trying to figure out what to do to not get into the same situation again. Here are the facts. I have a couple on new sandisk 16GB, 60MB/s CF cards. My camera is mine since this winter. I was shooting both video and photos that night and and all the files are working great accept for this one. The only thing i can think about that i did on this and not on the other files is that i during the shot, wich lasted for about 10 minutes, is that i shot a couple of stills during the recording and that I also went from video to photo mode pretty quick after recording. The files is not viewable nor on the camera or the computer on programs such as QT, FCP, MPEG streamclip, VLC. The files is there and it is about 2GB in size so i figure it must have been a 7-8 minutes long take. Another thing that is wierd is that in the metadate of the files, it says that it was created friday the 13:th of april 1934 at 16:48 while all the other files are saying the right time wich was thursday 20 may att about 00.15 to 01:30. Today i´ve been filming under the same conditions just to try and se whay might have caused this problem and i cant find it. Today im recording and switching very fast to stills-mode and take series after filming for 10 minutes, and also im taking photos during the shoot and so far no clip has turned out to be corrupted. Can anyone help me / the 7d filmmakers find out how to avoid this from happening again by sorting out what to do, for how long maximun and in wich way."
