Issue
Export and Automation Tools are unavailable (dimmed) in the File menu in Photoshop Elements on Mac OS or in the Photoshop Elements Editor on Windows.
Solution
It is expected behavior for these menu choices to be unavailable. If you install a plug-in that has export or automation functionality that uses one or both of these menu choices, then they are available.
Adobe is not currently aware of any third-party plug-ins that enable these menu choices.
