Only about 3 ounces heavier and slightly longer than its smaller brother, the PHD-51Q, the Velbon PHD-61Q Magnesium 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head delivers precise optimum performance on all 3 axis; allowing vertical and lateral tilt, with 360° panning. The Vertical tilt handle and the panning lock can be positioned for both left or right handed operation.

The retractable camera rotation stops prevent your camera from sliding when in vertical position, while the vertical control handle can be screwed into the pan/tilt handle for easier storage, and the camera mounting screw can be latterly adjusted for custom camera positioning

With calibrated scale markings on all axis, and a total of three leveling bubbles, getting the perfect level and angle, in Portrait or Landscape co ition is greatly facilitated. Magnesium construction allows for a 20% weight reduction over traditional metals, while still maintaining the same stability a d quality.
