The updated AT-858BL is designed for today's Digital and Conventional cameras, this lightweight and compact tripod offers all the rock steady support necessary for high quality imaging, no matter what the application. It includes a grip action ball head as well as quick-action levers for fast set-up and breakdown. Three section tripod legs permit a folded length of only (33.1 in - including the head) due to it's unique leg design which allows the legs to be folded shorter than conventional designs, making the 858 ideal for fitting into luggage once on location. The 858BL extends to (77 in). It weighs a mere (7.35 lbs) and can support digital (and film) cameras up to (13 lbs). In addition, the innovative three faceted center column design prevents any unwanted column rotation and is reversible for low-angle shots. A carry bag with shoulder strap is also included.

The AT-858 head allows you to move, position and lock your camera with one hand in one position thanks to the revolutionary design of its grip handle, which incorporates the ball lock lever. A friction control wheel lets you regulate the power of the blocking mechanism to match the weight of your camera/lens. The ball grip head is made for lightweight performance, and is designed to keep the weight of your kit as close as possible to the tripod's centre of gravity by way of its reduced height. This, matched with the precision construction of the AT-858BL head, gives the head its load capacity (13 lbs). Complete with built-in bubble spirit level and quick release camera plate the head is suitable for use with digital, 35mm or medium format cameras.

High-density foam rubber leg protectors are added for comfortable handling.
