The Google Pixel 3 is a large smartphone with a a 5.5" display and a 12MP rear-facing camera with Dual Pixel AF and a 28mm equivalent F1.8 lens. Two front-facing cameras offer 19mm and 28mm equiv. focal lengths.
Computational photography allows for improve image quality and reduce noise, including in low light. By capturing multiple frames the Pixel 3 can improve image quality when using digital zoom. A Top Shot feature will select the best photo you've taken, even if that moment occurred before you actually took your desired picture. Google Lens is always available and can read URLs, QR codes and e-mail addresses, and then suggest what to do with them.
The Pixel 3 has an IP68 weatherproofing certification, runs Android 9, supports wireless charging and has a USB-C port.

MINUS: Hal som en blöt tvål! Märks att bilderna i första hand är tänkta att ses på en mobilskärm - verkar aningen "överarbetade" på datorskärmen och kräver vanlig bildbehandling för att se bra ut där: justerad vitbalans, lägre kontrast och minskad färgmättnat bl a.
En fantastisk kamera (har inget SIM-kort i den utan fortsätter med iPhone som mobil) med ett bildresultat som många gånger är ofattbart från en mobil med så liten sensor - 1/2.55 "
Mörkerläget och den simulerade bakgrundsoskärpan visar vägen för kommande produkter inom "Computational photography"
"Super Res Zoom" som faktiskt fungerar - åtminstone upp till 2X..... smart programmering igen!
Ett utmärkt komplement till min Sony A6400, där Pixel 3 fungerar utmärkt som GPS-enhet - kopplar upp blixtsnabbt och ställer även kamerans klocka av bara farten....
