Olov,
You must - yes must - if you want to make sure what you see on your monitor is what you get when you orint - either to your own printer or to a commercial printing place - get a color calibration setup - what that means is you have to spend about $250 at the very minimum to several thousand dollars for harware and software.
Go here - it will explain how it works:
http://www.monacosys.com/products.html#
and click on the flash demo:
MonacoEZcolor - New! Flash Demo
- myself I use MonacoEZcolor and MonacoOPTIX hardware and software to calibrate my monitors, flatbed scanners, printers and papers - yes - you also need to calibrate your paper if you can't find profiles for the paper you use if you print your images yourself. However once you've done this you can preview every image and see how it looks on *this* paper and then switch and preview another paper and then decide which paper the image looks best on. Sounds complicated but is a lot easier once you understand how it works and you get the hang of it.
If you do not do this you will NEVER - and I mean NEVER - EVER get a print that looks like what you saw on your screen....
And here is the main page for Monaco:
http://www.monacosys.com/
http://www.monacosys.com/products.html# - this one lists all the products and demos and the flash demo.
After the profiling is all done all you have to learn is how to print to your printer(s) if you have one or several - and that in itself is a whole different ballgame...=*^)
