I found it pretty intuitive myself, though I only played with it a bit. Comes recommended from a bunch of people but it's only their opinion of course. I use Photopost at my site but that's pretty expensive software and this one is free, sooo...

Have fun,

Duncan

Why dont you -please- link directly to the site where the software etc is instead or in addition to linking to your homepage? I am sure it will be more appreciated and easier! ;-)

Well, I'm hoping folks will get to know that there is an extensive list of software and links at that page and enjoy using it as a kind of directory in the future. Problem is that people can't find it in the future if they don't know it's there, right?
Now, being as I'm putting hours & hours of work into constructing that page as well as paying for it's existance and upkeep, surely one extra click of your mouse is not too much to ask for, is it? Afterall, if the list did not exist I wouldn't find all of these great programs anyway...:)

Bests, Duncan

The problem is not actually that you are linking to your homepage but that you have 500 other links on the same page - so when you say "you can find the link here on my homepage" is like saying "you can find the site using google which you can find here".

So why not do like this (with links):
Here is the software
Here is other great software links and stuff

Dont missunderstand me though!
I love getting info about software and stuff and appreciate that you are sharing the knowledge of where it is! :)

Peter,
you missed this part:

Posted here as usual in the "Gallery & Thumbnail" section:

That page is catagorised:)

Cheers,

Duncan

Why not atleast put in some anchors and link to the catagorised-part on that page then? Like it is now I have to search your link-page to find the link.. or manually browse through it..

Make your visitors happy
It is almost easier with google right now! :)

Peter, I don't. I've discussed topics with you many times before and know you're not being "elak" and I know what you mean. Eventually I will do as you say when I feel that everyone knows where the page is. I do the same on all of the forums I'm on (28 now plus I run 3 external forums and all the ones at Camerans:)) and most people just think the page is a great help, as I know you do.
Bare with me a while as I think this page will be a great help to people, now and in the future. I'll always include the section it's in, too, so if you just drag the bar on the right you'll come straight to it.

One thing I'd be interested in, though. Do you (and others) think I should leave the page as it is with the programs and links all in one vertical line, or should I eventually have an entry page with the all different catagories listed and you can just go from there? In other words, the page you come to when you click on the resources link would just give you a list of catagories which you can click on and see all the software relating to that catagory...

Thanks for your input,

Duncan

That's an idea, thanks. I'll talk to the programmer when she gets back from her vacation and see what she can do with that.
Thanks for the input!

Hey, Peter,
did you try the software, BTW? It looked pretty good for freeware to me...

BTW feel free to write back in Swedish. I know that many folks here prefer that, and I can understand them. Don't want to hijack the forum :)
I really appreciate your writing English, though and compliment you on you command of the English language. If only I could write Swedish as I can speak it....sigh...and the secretary doesn't enjoy replying to forum posts so....:) LOL she'll learn..:)

A anchor is a easy thing,
Just insert forexample

above the first softwarelink on the linkspage, and then when you link on fotosidan use

http://www.camerans.com/resources.htm#softwarelinks

When someone later click on this link they get directly to your softwarelinks and not on the top of your site - which means they will find the link alot easier and not get frustrated like me..

Do this and there will be nomore complains from me..probably..hehe.. :)
