"Thank you very much for your pre-order of a copy of Lars Tunbjörk’s ‘L.A. Office’. This project is unusual for us in that for the first time in 10 years of publishing we agreed to allow the book to be designed, printed and produced by a third party, without our oversight. We agreed because of the personal significance of this project to our Publisher. It was a mistake and we have rejected the book which has been delivered because it does not get anywhere close to the standards we require for our publications.

We are therefore cancelling the book and reimbursing your advance payment. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have incurred any additional payment charges, which we will happily reimburse.

Our apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment, which we share. It is possible that at some point in the future we will make this book to our own standards, and we will be sure to inform you if this happens."

När fick du brevet från Mack? Det är kanske lite snopet för Borås Konstmuseum att boken inte kan presenteras tillsammans med utställningen.

På museets webplats står nämligen "Boken säljs i receptionen från och med utställningens start." Vilket är i morgon, så vitt jag förstår.

Jag beställde väl en annan utgåva kan man tänka? Den beskrevs som en "limited edition". Fick mejl den 8 juli om att man kunde förbeställa och själva mejlet om avbokning kom i måndags, den 13 juli. Lite snopet.
