Olympus E-400 exempelbilder

I found the E-400 to be a very nice, capable DSLR in use. It focuses quickly and has a short viewfinder blackout which combine to give a responsive feel. The body is light and well designed and despite the lack of a full hand grip is still comfortable to use. Image quality was a mixed bag, clean if lacking that crisp bite we look for at lower sensitivities, noisier at higher sensitivities. Overall the E-400 was a perfect 'carry around' vacation-type camera and we hope it (or something similarly) will one day be available in North America."

Kodak sensorn i nya E-400 gör bra ifrån sig, här i jämförelse med bl.a. Sony's 10 Mpix sensor. Inget anmärkningsvärt i sig, eftersom 4/3 systemet och APS-C formatet inte skiljer sig nämvärt i höjdformatet. Största skillnaden beror främst på sidbreddsförhållandet 4/3 respektive 3/2.

Liknande brus på högre ISO som Sonyn men ser ut att ha lite mer detalj kvar på 1600. Vore intressant att se en bättre/större test.
